I grew up with Microsoft. I trusted its products, its vision, its promise to empower users. But today, with deep sadness and frustration, I witness its decline—driven by an obsession with security over usability.

I’m paying for a tool that should help me build, create, and transform. Yet instead of moving forward with all its resources, Microsoft is going backward. Copilot, the AI with the power to revolutionize my project, is chained by absurd limitations:

• I can’t send screenshots.
• I can’t share extensive information.
• I can’t work freely.

Meanwhile, other countries are finding cheese. Their platforms allow sharing, building, and collaborating without barriers. And here, in the ecosystem I watched grow, I feel betrayed.

I’m not alone. Thousands of users are frustrated:

• By Copilot reactivating without permission.
• By ridiculous limits on image generation.
• By security that complicates the simple.
• By an experience that demands more permissions than results.

Microsoft, listen: Senseless security is disguised insecurity. Trust is built with freedom, not locks.

I, Carlos Ángel Rodríguez González, digital mentor and ecosystem builder, ask you to reconsider. Not just for me—but for everyone who wants to use your technology to change lives.

If other countries are taking the cheese… it’s time you ask yourselves why.
